Studio

Thomas' studio is a 500 square foot loft with a cathedral ceiling and dominant north light windows. There is a still life area lit by high cool light entering from the left, as well as a comfortable section for figure work. Color-balanced fluorescent tubes are positioned adjacent to the north windows to depict a similar light when painting in the evening. The studio is designed for painting from life with the versatility in lighting and positioning of the subject.
